Training Locations

Campbell University Health Center (CUHC)

This is a free-standing outpatient clinic located within Campbell University’s campus. This site serves as the location for the fellows’ sports medicine continuity clinic, and frequently as the site for the fellows’ primary specialty clinic as well (depending on the fellows’ primary specialty). Fellows will provide care for student athletes as well as other members of the community, both independently and under the supervision of Core Sports Medicine Faculty. The clinic is operational Monday through Friday. Patient volume may vary from 4-16 patients per half-day, depending on the season of sports, the number of injuries, and the nature of encounters. The clinical site houses resources utilized in sports medicine care including MSK Ultrasound, x-ray, bracing/splinting/casting supplies, injection therapies, and other common tools used in the examination and treatment of patients. The CUHC is also the location where weekly didactics and journal club typically take place.

Campbell University Athletic Training Rooms

There are 4 athletic training rooms in various athletic facilities across the university campus. These locations are where Campbell University Division I athletes come to seek evaluation and treatment from the medical team. Fellows will see student athletes in the training rooms before, during, and after sporting events, in addition to having scheduled training room time for clinical encounters as a part of their sports medicine continuity clinic.
