Campbell University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, education specialist, and doctorate degrees.
Campbell University is one of only three private Universities in North Carolina to hold SACSCOC Level VI accreditation status, the highest level possible. The other two institutions are Duke University and Wake Forest University.
In April of 2017, the American Osteopathic Association’s Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) granted Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine full accreditation status. Accreditation status is the highest level of accreditation awarded, and confers all rights and privileges of accreditation.

Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine is a member of the Osteopathic Medical Network of Excellence in Education (OMNEE), which is committed to developing residency programs in North Carolina and the Southeastern United States. North Carolina has medical facilities to provide training sites for our students and the opportunity to develop new GME sites to ensure graduates of residency positions as they become available.
