The Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination of the United States (COMLEX-USA) is a multi-level series of competency-based assessments used by institutions granting the DO degree. A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) student must pass Levels 1, 2-CE and 2-PE to graduate and earn a DO degree, progress into graduate medical education, and gain osteopathic physician licensure.
