The Early Decision Admissions Track is an admissions option for candidates who identify CUSOM as their first choice for pursuing their medical education and earning their medical degree. To be considered for the Early Decision Admissions Track, a candidate must meet all of the following requirements and agree to apply only to CUSOM until an early decision notification has been made.

Early Decision Admissions Track Requirements and Timeline
- Minimum Science and Overall GPA of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale.
- Minimum overall MCAT score at or above the 50th percentile; MCAT scores from tests administered up to three years before the date of matriculation are accepted.
- The deadline to submit an AACOMAS application including official transcripts from all institutions attended and official MCAT scores for the Early Decision Admissions Track is June 1.
- Applicants must submit a letter of intent to the CUSOM Office of Admissions indicating that CUSOM is your first choice for medical school and request review for Early Decision Admissions Track by June 1.
- Applicants must submit all secondary application materials including the CUSOM Secondary Application, application fee or AACOMAS fee waiver, letter of recommendation from a Pre-Health Committee, Pre-Health Advisor, or doctoral degree science faculty member, and letter of recommendation from an osteopathic or allopathic physician within two (2) weeks upon receiving the Secondary Application invitation.
- Qualified applicants will be invited for an Applicant Day within one (1) week of receipt of their Secondary Application.
- Applicants typically will receive a decision regarding admission within five (5) business days of the Applicant Day.
