Graduation FAQs

Students, parents and family members are encouraged to review the answers to these frequently asked questions. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us. 

The school will purchase students tams, gowns, and hoods for all students.

DO students will pick up regalia on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 during Exit Day.

MSBS students will receive their regalia on Monday, April 29th during Exit Prep. 

If a student receives Honors, they will receive their honor cord on Exit Day.

Graduation rehearsal will be on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Gore Arena at 2:00 PM. Attendance is mandatory for those participating in the May 9 Commencement Ceremony.

Please bring your cap and gown for the class photo, which will take place at the conclusion of rehearsal.

There is not a guest cap on tickets for students. We welcome all of your family and friends. We will have a livestream option for guests who cannot attend the ceremony.

Graduates must be in McCall Court by 8:30 AM on Thursday, May 9, 2019. Guests may start arriving at 8:30 AM.

Parking will be available behind the Convocation Center. Golf cart shuttles will be available to help transport guests from parking to the Convocation Center.

Professional attire is requested. Men should wear dark slacks and dark shoes under gown. Women should be mindful of heel height.

Students may keep personal items in McCall Court during Graduation. Each graduate will have a designated seat where they can leave belongings. However, CUSOM is not responsible for the loss of any personal items.

As mentioned, this is a professional ceremony. We would recommend professional dress for all guests, but it is not required.

Handicapped seating is available throughout the top of the concourse of the arena. Please ask ushers or security for assistance.
