Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine is located 30 miles south of Raleigh. Most of our students reside in surrounding communities such as Buies Creek (a short drive to our building!) or Fuquay-Varina (a growing community 20 minutes from campus and 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh). The office of Student Affairs provides all incoming CUSOM students with a housing list containing various local housing options.

The purpose of Orientation is to acclimate new students to our community and prepare them for the program. New students are required to attend all Orientation events.

Class of 2030 Orientation will be on Wednesday, July 22 through Friday, July 24, 2026 with a designated pick-up day on Tuesday, July 21. All dates are mandatory for new students. Classes begin on Monday, July 27, 2026. All students should plan on being moved into the area by the weekend of July 18-19. See you then!

White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2030 will be on Friday, October 23, 2026 at 2:00pm in Hobson Auditorium, which is located in D. Rich Hall on Campbell’s main campus.

The Campbell University Office of Financial Aid will email all accepted students information related to applying for financial aid. Office of Financial Aid staff are also available to answer questions and provide personal financial aid counseling.

Yes. All enrolled students must be covered by a health insurance plan. For more information, please visit the Campbell University student health insurance page for options if you do not already have insurance through another provider.
