About the Campbell University MSBS Program
The Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MSBS) program is a rigorous two-year graduate degree program designed for applicants who need to enhance either their academic record or standardized test scores for admission to health professions programs. This program couples a challenging curriculum with personalized student advisement.
The program is designed to attract individuals from rural areas, low socioeconomic status backgrounds, and underrepresented minorities. However, acceptance is not limited to individuals from these groups.
While the MSBS program provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate academic capability, it does not ensure admission to a professional school, including Campbell University professional programs.
What You'll Experience as an MSBS Student
- Immersion in coursework taught by medical school faculty comparable to the first year of medical school
- A rigorous curriculum that allows students to demonstrate readiness for medical and other health professional schools
- Participation in a structured, in-person standardized test preparation course offered on our campus by Kaplan Test Prep
- Clinical skills development through multiple certifications and training activities and events in a medical simulation center
